AUVs

C-Innovation’s fleet of Hugin autonomous underwater vehicles (AUV’s) provide customers with the highest resolution imagery and most accurate data available. Our vehicles feature a stable, low noise platform that can operate in depths up to 6000 meters. The fleet comes equipped with the latest and most accurate payload sensors such as Kongsberg HISAS, Side Scan Sonars, Multibeam echo sounders, sub-bottom profilers, still cameras, laser profilers, and a host of environmental sensors. By collecting accurate data from many different sensors simultaneously, we can provide our clients a complete data product from a single mission. Other features include terrain aided navigation, obstacle avoidance, autonomous pipeline tracking, and in-mission supervision. Real-time data transmission allows for monitoring of the vehicle, positioning, and payload sensors and serves as a quality measure to ensure a safe, effective, and accurate survey.

Our AUVs have carried out various mission types including:

  • High-resolution high-speed seabed mapping and imaging
  • Geophysical site inspection
  • Pipeline and subsea structure inspection
  • Oceanographic surveys
  • Environmental monitoring
  • Marine geological surveys
  • Search operations
