WE ARE PROUD OF OUR TEAM

Onboard the Island Enforcer, C-I Shift Supervisor Raphael Neves was awarded the Goal Zero Hero from Shell in March 2023. During cargo transfer operations, Raphael noticed that some areas were not barricaded and signalized while technicians were boarding the vessel simultaneously. With his quick and vigilant actions, he informed the deck team and they were able to quickly signalize the areas of activity for a safer onboarding process.
Our ROV Superintendent onboard the Island Enforcer, Alex Juste, was awarded by Shell Subsea IMR Brazil as a GOAL ZERO HERO in recognition for the observation and actions taken during the launch of the SuMS where it was observed the use of the ROV shackle to replace the “Nautilus Hook“ that was without the main trigger cable. It was immediately reported and requested to return with “Nautilus Hook” that works only with secondary trigger cable if required, as this shackle is not 4-part model and there is a risk to open in the middle of operation and have a consequent fall of the equipment, on August 11, 2022.
ROV Superintendent Paulo Rei was recognized for the observation and actions taken during the XT’s Flow Module removal operation, identifying that, after a crane movement, the suspended load was above subsea structures. He then requested to move the suspended load to a safe area.
Our ROV Technician onboard the Island Enforcer, Wagner Bonfim, was awarded a GOAL ZERO HERO in recognition for the Unsafe Condition Observation as he warned an MPSV bridge team of an incorrect 500m zone depart move direction request conflicting with FPSO mooring lines in May 2022.

From January 2021 to April 2022, UHD43 was onboard a drill rig working off the coast of Brazil.  During this project, UHD43 completed 161 dives, with over 2,586 hours of dive time. From our client representative: “The ROV team’s performance was the project’s gold standard and we greatly appreciate all the hard work the C-I team put into making it this way.”
Shell recently took a trip to our Rio de Janeiro office to recognize our team for achieving 3 years of Goal Zero in Personal Safety.

Congratulations to our team! Thank you for always putting safety first!
Onboard the Island Enforcer, C-I ROV Superintendent Alex Juste de Oliveira was awarded the Golden Hot Stab from Shell for his intervention during subsea operations.

During SCM (Subsea Control Module) changeout operations, the vessel was not on the SOZ (Safe Overboard Zone) to start the equipment recovery to deck. Since Alex was knowledgeable about the Shell SWP (Safe Work Plan), he instructed the vessel to move to the SOZ prior to equipment recovery.

Way to go, Alex!
C-Innovation’s ISLAND ENFORCER vessel was recently congratulated for successful project completion in Brazil.

Great work, team!
The ROV crew onboard the Island Venture was awarded BP’s Safety Excellence Trophy for the recent safe completion of MC-777-3 well.
Paulo Rei
Paulo Rei, C-I ROV Superintendent onboard the Island Enforcer, was honored as Shell’s Goal Zero Hero for September 2023!

This is Paulo’s 6th Goal Zero Hero award – proving his continued commitment to safety after he suggested replacing the single ROV hook by a ROV shackle on the vessel crane during
the preparation of an SFL connector. This decision increased the safety factor for the launching operation.

Congratulations, Paulo! Thank you for keeping our vessels safe.
