ExxonMobil Commends C-INSTALLER Crew

Crewmembers aboard ECO’s C-INSTALLER were recognized by Esso Exploration and Production Guyana (commonly known as ExxonMobil) for their hard work and safe operations. The crew aboard the C-INSTALLER began operations in Guyana in April 2018, and has since then accomplished many major tasks outside the standard rig support without any injuries.

Even though challenges with equipment failures and repairs threatened the workflow during the past year and a half, the team offered solutions that allowed projects to remain on schedule and without interruption.

Matt Bessette, Esso Exploration Wells Engineer, praised the team through an email message and included that he is “proud to be part of the culture that lives onboard.” He continued, “There are several unsung heroes in this regard who drive the positive spirit. Their friendliness and energy onboard ripples a long way.”

Bessette also highlighted the survey crew for contributing significantly to the success of every operation with a crane hook or ROV in the water. This crew ensures their equipment is performing properly, documentation is supplied, and communication with the vessel and ROV crews are open.

Keith Munoz, Esso Exploration Marine Logistics Supervisor, also applauded the crew’s teamwork. Munoz recognized the crew’s ability to follow procedures which he called “impressive and encouraging.” Munoz continued to say, “Many thanks to the C-Installer, Chouest Management, Drilling, Subsea, and Logistics for safely working day in and day out. Let’s continue by treating every task as if it were the first.”

Thank you to the C-INSTALLER crew for your dedication to working with a safety-first attitude!
